Regulating Gas Burners, were developed by former Hotwork Köster, presently Hotwork International in the 1990s. Hundreds of these almost maintenance free Burners are operating in the glass industry worldwide, providing highly luminous and fully adjustable flames with high degree flame coverage maximising the heat transfer to the glass enabling a superior melting performance. The RGB provides excellent NOx levels and excellent full flame control.
This Burner has one gas connection for two nozzles. The gas ratio between the inner and the outer nozzle is adjusted by a control valve inside the burner. Control hand wheels at the back of the burner allowing a precise adjustment of the inner nozzle position to the outer nozzle as well as a precise ratio control between the two gas velocities, ensuring a superior and fully flexible flame adjustment to production conditions and furnace geometries. The system incorporates a burner sealing plate, which eliminates the inclusion of tertiary air as well as fully adjustable burner bracket holder and gas non return valves. During reversal the burner is cooled by air against the heat of the furnace atmosphere. Hotwork and UAS specialised in supply of auxiliary equipment, including full gas control stations, furnace control system ( DCS ), full automation, exhaust gas analysis and Oxygen probes as well as tuning, supervision and commissioning services worldwide.
